Home Owner Clients
With private residential clients working on their home I aim support them in their journey from initial ideas to completion of the construction of their project. The stages of the process are outlined below and I am available for involvement for anything between one and all of these stages.

Feasibility Study
Diagrammatic planning in order to broadly assess the feasibility of your proposal in terms of layout, form, cost, planning policy and building regulations. This will help determine whether the end goal of the project is realistic.

Design Development
Collect information about how the building needs to work and develop a strategy for how these needs will be satisfied. Through consultation and careful consideration we will arrive at the most appropriate solution or each project.

Planning Application
We will make the planning application to the local planning authority on your behalf. This will include the relevant paper work, planning drawings, design and access statement, liaising with the planning department and monitoring the application.

Building Regulations Application
Most projects require building regulations approval. Approval means that the drawings adhere to structural, safety, electrical, plumbing, insulation and ventilation requirements. I will produce all the building regulations drawings, specifications and work with a structural engineer to produce structural calculations required to obtain Building Control approval. I will act as your agent and submit the application to Building Control and liaise with them to gain approval.

Pre-Construction
We will prepare detailed drawings and specification, liaise with the relevant consultants, issue tender packages to suitable contractors and administer the tender process and selection of a contractor. We will maintain good communication between all members of the project team in order to ensure the best possible outcome for your development.

Construction & Contract Administration
We will issue production information and administer the contract, maintaining a high level of communication between all parties in order to ensure smooth progress on site and complete construction on schedule with a high build quality.

Architectural Drawing
I can produce stand-alone Architectural drawing packages for any of the stages above for private homeowner clients, developers and contractors
